Bluerank takes employees to Workation

After working in remote and hybrid mode, Bluerank is testing work while on vacation. The entire team, almost 120 people, was given the opportunity to work for a week in Greece, Spain, Turkey or Morocco.

The agency constantly modifies the way it works, introducing innovations. In Bluerank, you can turn on your computer at the selected time, while remote work was available even before the pandemic. In 2020, the organization switched to it completely and is now using a hybrid model. On Mondays, the team works in the office, and on the following days, you can choose a home office.

The experience so far shows that alternative forms of work not only do not affect our efficiency, but have become an indispensable part of the functioning of our organization. The consequence is only fewer opportunities for meetings and integration. If we add to this the financial opportunities resulting from the increase in sales revenues (up to PLN 69 million in 2021; an increase by 38% compared to 2020 - editorial note) and our willingness to implement innovations, we receive an answer to the question why we will be flying on workation in April and May.
-Maciej Gałecki, CEO of Bluerank

Agency employees chose their destinations by making decisions in groups, in accordance with their affiliation to partner teams. They are created by specialists from different departments joining forces for the project. Thanks to an interdisciplinary perspective, constant communication and exchange of knowledge, they provide agency partners with comprehensive service focused on achieving business goals, in accordance with the idea of customer journey.

During workation, the rhythm of work will probably change, mainly due to time differences and high temperatures, but this does not mean a deviation from the routine of involvement in projects, the status meetings of partner teams, departmental teams and with agency partners. The conditions for normal work were one of the criteria for selecting countries and specific travel destinations, which was proposed for the Rainbow Tours agency, one of its long-term partners.

For Bluerank, we chose four and five-star hotels with infrastructure that will allow this team to comfortably work in rooms, by swimming pools and in restaurants - everywhere with a fast Internet connection, and after hours enjoy all the advantages of staying in holiday resorts.
-Karolina Gąsiorowska, Director of the Group Reservation Department at Rainbow Tours S.A.

Bluerank covers all costs related to travel and stay from the trip to the airport, additional insurance, stay, meals, and even reimburses the cost of obtaining a passport. The first group is going to workation in Tenerife on great Monday. Bluerank will finish testing work on vacation in mid-May.
